Product Description

Crystagen (Glu-Asp-Pro / EDP) is a synthetic short-chain tripeptide associated with the family of compounds commonly described as peptide bioregulators.

Crystagen has primarily been investigated in experimental research involving immune-system biology and age-related changes in lymphoid tissue. Published work has examined several short peptides, including Crystagen, in models of spleen ageing and immune-cell regulation.

In one laboratory study, Crystagen was associated with activation of the B-cell component of the immune system, although it did not produce measurable cellular renewal in ageing spleen tissue. These findings make Crystagen of interest primarily as an experimental compound for studying short-peptide effects on immune-cell signalling and age-associated immune biology.

Crystagen may therefore be of interest to researchers studying:

  • B-cell and lymphocyte biology
  • Immune-cell signalling
  • Age-related immune changes
  • Spleen and lymphoid-tissue biology
  • Short-peptide bioregulation
  • Cellular ageing
  • Experimental immunology

The evidence base for Crystagen is very limited and predominantly preclinical, with relatively little independently replicated research available. Findings from laboratory models should not be interpreted as establishing safety, efficacy or therapeutic effects in humans.

For laboratory and research purposes only. Not for human consumption. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
